I love to be comfortable. I always say this, but it’s true. For this reason I am always on the hunt for a cool pair of slinky feeling pants. These shorts happen to be a personal favorite.
What I love about these shorts is that they fit like pajama pants but they have such a cute pattern. Thus these sorts of outfits can be deemed “glorified pajamas.” I feel quite empowered by this style because I can do just about anything while wearing it. I can move well, eat a nice big meal, go out all night or even curl up in a ball on the couch, all without feeling constricted
The important thing to remember when sporting this type of look is that it is easy to appear frumpy in it. In order to avoid this, I threw on a black vneck and knotted it up so that the outfit looked more put together and my waist was visible.
Glorified pajamas are also extremely versatile in that they can easily be worn day into night through the use of footwear. At work I wore them with a pair of silver sandals and threw on these black funky bad boys to head out to a Trunk Club event at RM Champagne Salon. I couldn’t have been happier in my choice of clothing.
