When I mentally prepare myself to get dressed in the morning I typically base my outfit around an article of clothing, or a theme. On this particular morning I selected my cozy ruffled cardigan and the rest of the outfit spun together around it. When I spotted this Rugby top hanging neatly in my closet I immediately threw it on and looked in the mirror. My initial thought was “wow I look just like my mom and my sister” (who both look classy all the time). My second thought was “perhaps I should wear Ralph Lauren more often.” I felt so mature in my clean lines and earth tones. So of course I allowed my hair to remain slightly unkempt and wrapped some bracelets around my wrist. The way I dress may not be traditional, but even I have a comfort zone. And being perfectly put together is outside of that zone.
