What is it about feathers that make you feel graceful? I assume it’s the way they move with you. Whatever it is, when I wear this white feather dress I just feel happy and glamorous. Because it’s so delicate I decided to add a little edge with the leopard heels and the chunky vintage jewels.
I love vintage shopping. I like the hunt but I also like having a story behind how I found the piece and knowing that there is a whole story from before it even got to me. That history is what makes it special. I found these earrings a couple of weeks ago at a the Vintage Garage- a monthly garage sale in Chicago. They have four different paintings on them… one of which (Autoportrait by Tamara de Lempicka) happens to be my boyfriend’s favorite painting. I knew I had to have them.
