This is the first outfit post so far so bare with me as I didn’t dress up specifically for the occasion, but instead for a snowy trip to the doctor. Yes, I did take this picture while waiting for 2 hours to be seen by the dermatologist (I left shortly after but thanks Dr. Barsky for the impeccable backdrop).

I have 3 main objectives when dressing in the morning. 1. Look cool, 2 Be comfortable, and 3. Accomplish both 1 and 2 by mixing a total “mish mosh” of clothing.

I like to dress non-fem but at the same time I have a boyfriend who prefers that I don’t dress like a dude. I achieved my goal by focusing on details (and to me its all about the details). I started with my slouchy ripped jeans, loose fitted button-down, boots and plain cardigan. I was able to soften it up by tying up my shirt, adding an over the top girly necklace (thanks katherine!) and pinning a piece of faux-fur on to my cardi. And voila! Farmer meets Free People.
