When I envision my ideal escape, the first two things that come to mind are always turquoise water, and a dreamy bohemian outfit.
Putting on a flowy frock is the perfect way to achieve a whimsical feel, even if you can’t retreat to an exotic beach.
I almost never wear pink. I don’t even like to refer to this skirt as pink so I call it a very pale pinkish peach. When certain pieces feel too feminine to me, I pair them with an article that is less delicate. I chose this boxy cropped tee to accentuate the high waisted detail of the skirt and so that the outfit as a whole wouldn’t appear too girly. The chunky tapestried shoes were a perfect blend of fem and funky and added a more 70’s vibe.
I absolutely love this barrette. I got it at a flea market on the outskirts of Paris. It is made of real cookies. REAL COOKIES. I thought it added the perfect touch of “cutie” to my pink mermaid hair and made the whole look that much more dreamy. Because let’s be real- who can resist a girl with dessert on her head?
