As a stylist, dressing for work is completely different each day. When I have an appointment with a client I dress according to who he is. I always have the most difficulty picking out my attire for a guy who is a bit older and more serious because I like to dress casually and refuse to sport that traditional “secretary” type look. So this is what I came up with for a stylish yet slightly business casual outfit for a hot summer day…
The high-waisted pleated shorts are a great way to stay cool in the heat while still looking nice, and the blouse helped to dress up the outfit with it’s fancier fabric. I threw in the belt for a nice little pop separating the top and bottoms. While this look doesn’t exactly scream “finance!” it does say, “Hey you, I am a classy and fashionable lady. And you will dress as I say.”
