Last week I attended an amazing event hosted by Freebie at Allium, the restaurant located in the Four Seasons Hotel. Partygoers received free transportation courtesy of UberX and upon arrival were brought complimentary drinks followed by a three course meal. In return, all guests were asked to do was download Freebie App on their iPhone, and redeem their ticket. The app is currently available to anyone in Chicago, and I highly recommend it.
A great party calls for a great dress, which is why I chose this charming little number. 
I love the structure of this dress. It’s not an average high-low dress. I guess its more of a high-low-high, and the way it drapes over your body feels simply like heaven. Did I mention it has pockets? The metal on the belt paired with the metal panels on my shoes felt a bit too JLo circa ’99 for me, so I paired it with this vintage bag to tone down the golds. With such a flowy shape I needed the tight belt to show that I actually have a waist.

Did I mention the post-dinner scavenger hunt? Whoever posted the most creative photo won a certificate for a dinner for two at Allium. How I didn’t win is still beyond me….
