On thursday I attended an event at Space 519 featuring a Melissa + Karl Lagerfeld collaborative collection. The features: fabulous shoes, Mua Mua accessories, Moet, and macaroons. The store was unbelievable and so was the merchandise. I attended with the intent of just browsing and left with two pairs of shoes and a hat.
My outfit was pretty casual. I wanted to be comfortable so I threw on a pair of slouchy pants. Instead of balancing out the baggy pants with a tight fitting top, I opted for a cropped shirt of sorts- the only thing slightly sexy about it was that it had a front slit high enough to show my belly button. It was a great alternative to wearing something skimpy. I used bright blue shoes to add in a pop of color.
