I purchased these maryjanes recently when I was in the mood for a more feminine style of footwear. I also needed a pair of shoes to wear out at night with knee socks. True to my taste they are not the most delicate, but still more girly than my Timbs. 
It’s already getting cold in Chicago which means that layering is a necessity, so I threw on a pair of tights under my knee socks both for warmth and for a bit more coverage at work. I also like how the burgundy socks brighten and break up the look. I threw a slouchy oversized sweater on over my dress for a cozy and “purposely disheveled” feel and because it added a nice 90’s grunge touch.
If you are wondering about the beautiful beast featured in photo number 3, that is Lance. He is very fluffy, a total doll, and a pleasure to work with.
