Buddha-licious Fur: My Favorite Jacket

Every day I wake up hoping the weather on my phone will read something along the lines of “75 degrees and sunny as hell.” Unfortunately, that is not the case. But, one more cold day here in the windy city of Chicago meant one more opportunity to wear this jacket.

I bought this lovely piece of fur on my first visit to London. It was midsummer and in the high 80s as I wandered the streets of Portobello Market. Flea markets are my favorite places to shop. They require patience, an eye for treasures and a willingness to get your hands dirty… and get them dirty I did. I found my jacket in the shadiest corner of the market and haggled with an even shadier man. And it was totally worth it.

I paired the jacket with the pop of hot pink flats to make my Buddha-licious outfit even more exciting.
