There’s something to be said about the red maxi dress. It is vibrant, sexy, yet leaves room for the imagination. Sort of like a late night film on Cinemax. I like the contrast of mixing delicate and rough, which is why I paired the dress with the chunky booties. They are so opposite that they almost compliment each other. It was a bit cold on this day so I opted for the tie dye cardigan to break up the solid red that consumed my body. The grey and purple swirls just made the outfit more interesting…wouldn’t you agree?
One more thing… I find that sometimes it’s the little things in your outfit that can change your whole mood, even if no one sees them but you. Dreary day? Wear neon underwear. For me, it’s all about the socks. I have a sock fetish. DID YOU NOTICE MY FRIDA KAHLO SOCKS??? Doesn’t get more artsy than that my friends.
