This weather is pretty wild. And if it’s snowing as badly where you are as it is in Philly, chances are you’re spending the day at home. When we’re cooped up we have a tendency to snack a lot and binge watch tv. Instead doing things that will turn you to mush (mentally and physically), try out these activities.
1. Work-out.
I know this may be the last thing you want to do. But you will feel so much better about yourself. And you don’t have to leave your home either. Try a quick, at home tabata workout like this one:
2. Bake
Something HEALTHY. No cupcakes or muffins. Put in the time to make a low calorie snack so that if you are eating all day, you won’t feel bad about it tomorrow. Try this sweet potato chip recipe:
– Preheat oven to 400 degrees
– Cut sweet potato into very thin slices and spread out on baking sheet
– drizzle a tiny amount of olive oil, salt and pepper
– bake 5 – 10 minutes, rotating half way through, until edges are crispy
– allow to cool
3. Collage
There are no real rules for collaging. So even if you’re not artistic you can do it. Get inspired and make your own.
Last weekend my mom and I purchased the one above from Collage Garage
My mom made the above
And I made this one.

4. Clean Out Your Closet
I know. I know. My least favorite thing. But you know it’s necessary. And who wants to do that on a Saturday or Sunday when you could be at brunch?
5. House Of Cards
I know I said not to binge watch tv. But if you are going to watch something at least watch something worthy. House of Cards is sort of productive because at least it gets you amped up a bit! How can you not be motivated by the Underwoods to be the most powerful version of yourself?
