I like to encourage guys to get out of their comfort zone. So there is one question I always ask to gauge how far I can push them and it is whether or not they will wear pink. Some men are extremely sensitive to this color because they think it is feminine. If you have not worn pink before, I suggest trying it out. A great way to ease into it is to choose a shirt with a pattern that incorporates the color and/or wear it under something that is a more subtle hue. This client was looking for a nice outfit to wear on an upcoming trip. Since spring is around the corner, I suggested we add a little flair to make him look sophisticated yet stylish.
As you can imagine, when I first pulled out this button down he was skeptical. But after coaxing him into it and layering this blazer on top, he loved it. He even liked the patterned pocket square!
