This week I stopped by Nordstrom to check out the Spanx x Clinique Beauty Besties event. The two iconic brands teamed up to provide everyday essentials to girls on the go.
The Spanx rep showed me the line and the new seamless improvements to their power series… which I am particularly excited about since I am still working off my winter hibernation layer.
After checking out the Spanx section I moved along to see what Clinique had in store for me. Of all the items, this was the pairing I was most interested in:
I apply bare minimum makeup because I am a bit lazy and don’t like to wear very much. So I let the Clinique rep, Sebastian (yes, Ariel and Sebastian, meant to be) have a go at me with the contouring Chubby Sticks. He began with the highlighter, followed by the contour and then blended. Please enjoy the the following selfies:
The results? A dewy look with some enhanced cheek bones.
Overall, I am really into this partnership and thought their branding was very… Looking forward to using all of the products!
