A Holiday Look ft. Balmain x H&M

Countless holiday parties can be overwhelming but holiday party OUTFITS are just fun. Something about throwing on loads of velvet, feathers, sequins, costume jewelry, {insert your favorite loud look here} etc. simply feels festive because you can’t wear it as much the rest of the year. When you can combine several of these elements in one look and get away with it, you should consider yourself a success.

This shoulder-padded wonder of a top is in fact from the Balmain x H&M collection. And I love it. I paired it with simple skinny jeans to dress it down a bit. If you are still scouring the internet to find a piece of the line, be forewarned that it does run small (I am wearing a size 4).

While the velvet top is exciting it pales a bit in comparison to these boots. This specific pair of Alexandra Torissi pink bottom boots are limited edition and were designed in honor Bright Pink, a non-profit organization focusing on early detection of breast cancer and ovarian cancer. I love the inspiration and how unique they are.
