We tend to get caught up in hibernation mode during the winter. With Netflix and heat (and snacks and hot toddies) why would you ever leave the couch? While lounging with friends is one of the most relaxing activities, it’s important to get outside at least for a moment if the weather breaks.
In Chicago we had a warm day (high 30’s/low 40’s) so I made sure to step outside. Nothing beats winter blues like seeing bright colors. While UGGs and a hoodie would have been super comfortable, I decided to break out of my hibernation uniform and put on something more exciting. Overalls are a great break from the daily routine in the winter because not only are they cute, they add a little more coverage from the cold than simply wearing pants. If you typically stick to a black wardrobe, this look is a perfect way to stay true to your look while branching out a little.
