While it has been way too long since my last post, if you have been following along on social media you probably know that I have been putting a lot of efforts into planning shopping/blogger events called Le Fair. It is something I am thoroughly enjoying and am excited about. If you have been following for a little while you most likely know I love the art world as well, so when an opportunity presented itself to curate a show in Miami for Art Basel, I jumped on it right away.
What It Is:
The show I am curating is called GIRLS IN REVOLT. It is is a feminist art show celebrating strong, talented, badass young women, as well as female empowerment overall. The work will be displayed inside Maxine’s at The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club (1732-1756 Collins Ave, Miami Beach) from November 29-December 4, all of which will of course be available for purchase. Entry is free, and all are welcome- yes even men.
The Event:
The event for the show will be this Friday, December 2 from 7-11pm at Maxine’s and outside at the Bamboo pool. All of the artists will be there showcasing their work. Come hang poolside with us and enjoy our female DJ (naturally), complimentary cocktails from 7-8pm sponsored by Puszy Vodka, hand painted items, and some more surprises. Guests are welcome to go swimming, so feel free to bring a bathing suit.
